With random 100 degree heat waves fall has been in and out in Southern California. I am beyond ready for it to stay here. Go away crazy hot temperatures. I have been teased with brining out bigger coats,  more layers and lots of knit. This time of year is my absolute favorite thanks to the holidays, spiced lattes, extra wardrobe and oh hey, my birthday! (we’ve got some time)

I have always been drawn to heavier and longer pieces. Maybe being tall this is always a fashion that can work for me. Along with random pops of color, I am in love with neutrals. Caramel, browns, creams and earth tones. The mix and match to be is so feminine and romantic. Sometimes I feel as though I can step back in time a little bit…you know? I don’t know if that makes sense but it works for me.

Not only is the wardrobe transformed but so is the house. Shades of browns in the furniture, accessories and even the coffee cups. Light the fireplace, hand me my caramel hot coco while I’m in my knit sweater and I am good to go. See you next season!!!
